Message From the Editor-In-Chief
The Online journal of Islamic Education (O-jIE) is dedicated to promote the study of philosophy, curriculum, language and culture in Islam through the publication of research articles. It is a professional refereed journal in the field of Islamic Studies sponsored by Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. This journal serves as a forum to promote and disseminate Islamic knowledge and the theoretical applications of social sciences in the study of Islamic Studies. The journal is committed to providing access to quality researches ranging from original research papers in Islamic and Arabic Education. Articles in this journal are written either in Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Arabic.
In order to produce a high quality journal, extensive effort has been put in selecting valuable researches that contribute to the journal. I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the editorial board, reviewers and researchers for their valuable contributions to make this journal a reality.

Message From the Editors
The Online journal of Islamic Education (O-jIE) is peer reviewed, open access online publication that publishes studies that contribute an understanding of Islamic Studies and Muslims in the contemporary world. The journal is published electronically twice a year. The journal welcomes original and qualified researches on all aspects of Islamic studies. The topics covered in the journal are related to the following themes: Islamic philosophy, comparative studies on Islamic education and Muslim societies, Arabic Education, curriculum, teaching and learning in Islamic education, evaluation, Islamic education for indigenous groups, special education from the Islamic perspective and lifelong learning in Islamic Studies.
