This study aims to see the role of teachers in applying the concept of spiritual ecology amongst special education students. The concept adapted from western ecology is part of the research by researchers to develop a model of learning in Islamic Education. This concept emphasizes the appreciation of the Qur'anic prophecy regarding ecology to enhance the spiritual domain. Strengthening the spiritual domain of a special pupil is also very important to produce students who have inner strength and have an impact on the behavior or morals of students. In this regard, a preliminary survey was conducted through the observation method of a teaching and teaching session for Islamic Education subjects to special education students at a Kubang Pasu District primary school. The findings show that teachers play a role in applying the concept of spiritual ecology through the learning and learning process of the students.
