Abstract

The emergence of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) led to the current development of technology that predicted 50 billion electronic devices would interact with each other. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of knowledge of the students on the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the level of knowledge on the soft skills of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, to see the level of readiness of the students to pursue the Industrial Revolution 4.0 challenge, to see the relationship between knowledge and readiness to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and to see the relationship between knowledge of soft skills Industrial Revolution 4.0 and readiness to the Industrial Revolution 4.0.The study was conducted to 70 six semester students of the IPG Campus Ipoh. This survey study uses a questionnaire based on Sharita et al al. (2018) and the World Economic Forum (2016). The findings showed students' knowledge of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the readiness of students to pursue the Industrial Revolution 4.0 challenge at a moderate level. While the soft skills of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 are at high levels. There is a significant relationship between student knowledge about the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the willingness of students to pursue the Industrial Revolution 4.0 challenge. Also a significant relationship between student knowledge about the soft skill Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the willingness of students to pursue the Industrial Revolution 4.0 challenge. Research ers suggested that the management to increase the number of courses or seminars on the Industrial Revolution 4.0 to students.
