Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of talaqqi and mushafahah by Tn Hj Sulaiman bin Ali through the teaching and learning of qira'at Warsh An Nafi '. Data were collected through a qualitative approach using document analysis tools, observations and structured interviews. The findings show that talaqqi and mushafahah are performed in Qira'at's teaching and learning through several aspects. These aspects are the selection and use of the material (mashaf al-Qur'an), the implementation of the main elements in talaqqi and mushafahah, the reinforcement techniques and the provision of shahadah study (sanad readings). Implementation technique has shown how the Qur'anic reading skills are inherited and applied. It illustrates how a tradition of transfer of Quranic knowledge from one generation to another is implemented with full trust and responsibility so that the skill of the Qur'anic way of reading is preserved.
