KEBERKESANAN PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF SECARA DALAM TALIAN MENGGUNAKAN RESQUE: SATU KAJIAN TERHADAP KURSUS STATISTIK
Abstract
The global crisis due to the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic has made the tasks and responsibilities of educators more challenging where the teaching and learning process needs to be implemented online and not face to face as usual. The process of online teaching and learning requires educators to explore various applications that can be used to increase students' understanding and interest in learning. For this purpose, ReSQUE was built using the MIRO application. ReSQUE is an online digital interactive board, which allows educators with students or students with students to collaborate to solve questions or problems posed in their online learning process. This study aim is to identify the effectiveness using ReSQUE as one of the online teaching aids in Statistics course at Politeknik Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The respondents consisted of 48 students in semester one Diploma in Marketing. Students were divided into two groups namely group A and group B. Group A used ReSQUE while group B did not use ReSQUE in their online teaching and learning process. Formative assessment is given to both groups of students to assess students' understanding and achievement. Questionnaires were also distributed to see the level of students' interest in using ReSQUE. The findings show that there is an increase in the achievement and interest of students who use ReSQUE. Therefore, ReSQUE can be used as one of the effective medium in the implementation of online teaching and learning.
