AMALAN PENGAJARAN GURU BAHASA MELAYU TINGKATAN EMPAT DALAM PENULISAN KARANGAN DARI ASPEK KEMAHIRAN BERFIKIR SECARA KRITIS DAN KREATIF SERTA PEMBELAJARAN KOLABORATIF
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the current teaching approach in essay writing to Form Four students based on critical and creative thinking skills as well as collaborative learning approach. Quantitative methods involving semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The respondents comprised of 10 Malay Language teachers who teach students in Form Four. The findings showed that most teachers are still dominating the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Teachers are generally practicing the conventional teaching approach in essay writing.
