KEMURUNGAN, KEBIMBANGAN DAN TEKANAN DALAM KALANGAN PELAJAR TINGKATAN EMPAT DI DAERAH KOTA SETAR

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the level of depression, anxiety and stress among Form Four students. A total of 270 students consisting of male and female students in Kota Setar district secondary schools were surveyed using Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS 42) instrument. Data were analyzed descriptively based on mean and standard deviation. The results of the study as a whole showed that Form Four students are at a moderate level of depression, anxiety and stress based on DASS 42. In conclusion, this study suggested that depression, anxiety and stress problems be given attention before becoming worse among students so that problems related to depression, anxiety and stress among school students can be reduced and students can concentrate fully on studies.
